3. About the Website

The Website is a health-social marketplace that helps users discover, book, order, pay for and manage health-related products and services offered by independent third parties — including pharmacy/drugstore marketplace, prescription fulfilment, lab and test bookings, e-appointments, chat/video consultations, medical service bookings, HMO/insurance-backed health packages, remote monitoring, health content, wallet and premium tools.

We are not a hospital, clinic, pharmacy, laboratory, insurer, HMO, logistics company, payment service provider or emergency medical service. Independent providers, pharmacies, labs, HMOs, logistics and payment partners remain responsible for their own licences, inventory, staff, pricing, advice, fulfilment, delivery, benefits and service quality.

4. Eligibility, Registration & Account Security

You must be at least 18 to create an account or use the platform independently. Where a service is requested for a minor or dependent, the account holder represents they have legal authority to provide information and consent on their behalf.

You must provide accurate, current and complete information, keep credentials confidential and are responsible for activity through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise.

5. Medical Services & Emergency Disclaimer

Medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, prescriptions, referrals, lab interpretation and clinical decisions are provided by independent licensed professionals — not by the Company. We do not supervise professional judgment and do not guarantee clinical outcomes.

Provide complete and accurate health information. Incomplete or inaccurate information may affect quality or suitability of care.

The Website is not for medical emergencies or life-threatening conditions. For severe symptoms, contact emergency services or attend the nearest facility. Telemedicine may not be suitable for every condition; providers may refuse remote care and refer you for in-person assessment.

6. Marketplace Orders, Prescriptions & Delivery

Orders for medicines, lab services, consultations, home care, nursing, ambulance coordination and other services are subject to availability, provider/merchant acceptance, prescription verification where applicable, payment confirmation and delivery feasibility.

Prescription-only products require a valid prescription and may be refused, cancelled or modified where fulfilment would be inappropriate, unsafe, unlawful or inconsistent with professional obligations.

Delivery is performed by third-party logistics partners. Timelines, fees, verification, failed-delivery handling and proof of delivery depend on the partner, merchant, product, location and law. We may facilitate complaints/refunds/substitutions, but the responsible provider/merchant/logistics or payment partner remains liable for its own obligations unless law provides otherwise.

7. Payments, Wallet, Fees & Premium Membership

Fees may include consultation, product, lab, booking, delivery, marketplace service, subscription/premium, Health QR card, health-package, wallet withdrawal, payment-processing and sponsored-placement fees — all shown before confirmation.

Wallet funding, withdrawals, refunds, reversals, chargebacks and settlements are processed by licensed third-party payment providers subject to their terms, verification, limits and downtime.

Premium, Health QR and health-package benefits, exclusions, validity, renewal and cancellation are as displayed at purchase. HMO/insurer-backed packages remain subject to that partner's eligibility, benefit limits, exclusions, waiting periods, claims process and provider network. Subscriptions grant a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the paid Services unless earlier terminated.

8. User Conduct & Prohibited Use

You must not use the Website to:

  • Submit false medical/identity information or fraudulent prescriptions
  • Impersonate another person or unlawfully resell medicines
  • Misuse wallet/payment features, harass providers/merchants/users, or make unlawful/misleading health claims
  • Bypass platform controls, scrape/mine data, reverse engineer, introduce malware, launder funds or breach law or professional standards

9. Content, Health Information & Intellectual Property

Health articles, videos, remote-monitoring outputs and other content are for general information only and are not a substitute for professional advice. You retain responsibility for content you upload and grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, use, process, store, transmit and display it as needed to operate, improve, support, protect and enforce the Website, subject to our Privacy Policy.

We (or our licensors) own all IP in the Services, Website and published content, protected by copyright worldwide. You may not copy, modify, disassemble, decompile, reverse-engineer, reproduce, distribute, rent, sell, license, publish, display, download, transmit or exploit content without prior written consent, nor impose unreasonable load, interfere with functionality, harvest credentials or violate network security.

Marks: “QuickMedic” and “MediTech” logos are our Intellectual Property — use requires approval.

No mining/scraping: No robot, spider, scraper, bot or automated text/data mining or analytical technique may be used on the Services without permission.

10. Data Protection & Privacy

We process personal data — including health, prescription, lab, vitals, location, wallet and payment information — per our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection laws. Where required, we will request consent for sensitive health, telemedicine, prescription, HMO/insurance and marketing data.

11. Suspension, Termination & Takedown

We may suspend, restrict or terminate your account, transaction, order, wallet access, booking, listing or platform access where we reasonably believe there is fraud, safety, regulatory or payment risk, data misuse, abuse, non-payment, breach of these Terms or harm to users, providers, merchants, partners or the Company.

You may stop using the Website or close your account per our closure process, subject to outstanding payments, legal retention and pending transactions.

12. Disclaimers, Liability & Indemnity

Provided on an “as is” / “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, provider availability, stock, delivery or wallet/payment timing, medical outcomes, benefit availability or accuracy of third-party content. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

You indemnify the Company and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors and service providers against claims, losses, fines, penalties, liabilities and costs arising from your breach, misuse, unlawful conduct, false information, fraudulent prescriptions, IP infringement, data misuse, payment fraud or breach of law.

  • No liability for special, incidental, indirect or consequential damages (including downtime, loss of data, restoration costs, lost profits or cover) however arising.
  • Material obtained through the Services is at your risk — you are responsible for damage to devices or loss of data from downloads.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, aggregate liability will not exceed fees received or payable to QuickMedic in the 12 months preceding the claim, and excludes events beyond reasonable control.
  • No warranty that the Services will meet your requirements, be uninterrupted/timely/secure/error-free, that purchased content will meet expectations, or that errors will be corrected. No oral/written advice creates a warranty not expressly stated.

13. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

Governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Parties should first attempt resolution via customer support and good-faith escalation. If unresolved within 30 days, the dispute may be referred to courts of competent jurisdiction in Nigeria.

14. Assignment & Transfers

We may transfer our rights and obligations to another organisation (with written notice, without affecting your rights). You may not transfer, assign or delegate your rights/obligations without our prior written consent.

15. Targeted Users

Directed at residents of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and persons aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly engage directly with persons under 18. Content may not be appropriate or available elsewhere.

16. Licence & Access to the Services

You must not (and must not permit others to) copy, adapt, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, send/store viruses or harmful code, or use information obtained via the Services to create substantially similar software or in any copyright-restricted manner.

We may collect and use anonymised Usage Data relating to operation, support and use of the Website to develop, improve, support and operate the Services, disclosed only in aggregate/anonymised form.

17. Confidentiality Obligations

Each party's Confidential Information (business, proprietary, product, know-how, trade secrets, financial, customer lists, pricing, etc.) excludes information that is public through no fault of the receiver, already lawfully held, lawfully received from a third party, independently developed, or required by law/court/regulator (with advance notice where permitted).

Each party must hold the other's Confidential Information in confidence, not disclose it or use it except to exercise rights/perform obligations under these Terms, and limit disclosure to need-to-know employees/representatives bound by confidentiality. Neither party is responsible for third-party loss not resulting from breach. This clause survives termination; equitable relief is available for breach.

18. Severance

If any provision is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, it is deemed deleted without affecting the rest of the Agreement. Parties will negotiate in good faith to agree a replacement achieving the original commercial result.

19. Miscellaneous

  • Third-party service providers & links: Complimentary third-party services are optional; linked sites are for information only and not endorsed. Their use is subject to their own terms/privacy policies. We control no third-party content and assume no liability.
